Ride that wave!!

Starting something new, even something small, has the power to shift your energy.
It gets things moving again — especially if you’ve been feeling a bit stuck or uninspired. The older we get, the more this can seem like a challenge. That youthful spark, that wild curiosity, often gets buried under years of commitments, responsibilities,
and yes… other people’s opinions.

When we’re young, people encourage us to explore, to discover, to “find ourselves.” But as we get older, that encouragement can turn into discouragement. Suddenly, there are “rules” about what we should or shouldn’t wear, where we should travel, what we’re allowed to pursue — all based on age or “what’s appropriate.”

THAT IS JUST WRONG!

Why should getting older mean we should stop exploring, stop discovering, stop living? You’ve gained wisdom. You know yourself better now. You understand what makes you smile, truly smile, the kind that lights up your whole soul.
That kind of joy doesn’t belong to any age. And when someone tells you you're “too old” for something?
Smile kindly… and keep going.

And please, never tell someone else they can’t do something because of their age. Yes, there might be limits, physical, emotional, even situational.
But there is always another path.
Always!
If you never explore, you’ll never discover. It’s that simple.

So, if there’s something calling to you, something that sparks your heart, this is the perfect time to begin.
You may just find that the energy you thought had faded is still there, quietly waiting for you to say yes.

Forget the reasons why you shouldn’t.
You only need one good reason to go for it.
Finding your smile again might just be the first step to becoming the best version of yourself. Sometimes, it’s simply about choosing to be happy.

When your soul shines, people notice. Just by being you, a bright, glowing you, you become an inspiration to others.
So what is this card really trying to say?

GO. Find your smile. Light up your soul.

And if you feel a little rusty or a bit nervous, start small.
Join a club ... Pause for a coffee at that little place you always walk past ... Sign up for that course you’ve been thinking about.

If it brings a smile to your face, it’s already working.

You’ve taken the first step.

And that, exactly that .... is the beginning of something new.

YOU CAN DO IT.
Don’t let anyone convince you otherwise.

Start Something New
The Power of Fresh Energy

Most of us, at some point in life, decide it’s time for a change. Maybe we want to stop smoking, find a new job, or take up something we’ve always dreamed about.

Some of these decisions involve letting go of something, like quitting a habit or walking away from what no longer serves us. Others are about starting fresh — like stepping into a new opportunity or choosing a different path.

Both actions are powerful in their own way. But the energy behind them is different. Letting go is often connected to a feeling of release, while starting something new is filled with excitement and forward momentum.
Try this: instead of saying “I’m going to quit my job this year,” reframe it as “This year, I’m going to start a new job.”

It might seem like a small shift, but the energy it brings is completely different — lighter, more expansive, more inviting.
When we say we're letting go, it usually means we need to disconnect from something heavy or negative. It often carries the feeling of having to work through something. Starting something new, on the other hand, is filled with anticipation and possibility. It's forward-facing, uplifting, and energizing.

This simple example shows how the words we use can deeply influence the energy we bring into a situation. And remember — every time people collectively focus on growth or positive change (like during a season of fresh starts), that energy becomes even more available to you.
