Have You Already Felt Your Chakras Without Realizing?
Many people dismiss the idea of Chakras because they can’t “see” them—but that doesn’t mean they’re not experiencing them. Chances are, you’ve already felt them in your body, without knowing that’s what it was.

Let me give you a few examples:

  • Have you ever been so upset or angry that your throat tightens and it’s hard to speak? That’s your Throat Chakra responding.

  • Ever had a pit in your stomach when faced with a difficult situation? That’s the Solar Plexus Chakra.

  • And when someone broke your heart—or treated you so unfairly that it physically hurt in your chest—that’s your Heart Chakra.

These aren’t just metaphors. They’re energetic responses within your body that can signal balance or imbalance in these areas.

The Heart Chakra: The Center of Love and Connection
The Heart Chakra, located in the center of your chest, is the fourth of the seven main Chakras. It governs love—both the kind you offer to others and the kind you give yourself.
When balanced, the Heart Chakra helps you form healthy relationships, cultivate compassion, and feel at peace with yourself and others.
But when it’s out of balance, things can feel a bit off.

What Does an Imbalanced Heart Chakra Feel Like?

An overactive Heart Chakra might show up as:
- Feeling emotionally overwhelmed by
others’ problems
- Crying easily or feeling hypersensitive
- Struggling with emotional boundaries

An underactive Heart Chakra, on the other hand, may feel like:
- Emotional numbness
- Difficulty connecting with or loving others
- Harsh self-judgment or lack of self-worth

Either extreme can affect how you move through your daily life. Maybe now the phrase “He has a big heart” carries a bit more meaning, it could be pointing to an overactive Heart Chakra.
Sometimes, emotional overload or long-standing hurt can even feel like physical tightness or tension in the chest. That may be your body’s way of letting you know your Heart Chakra needs some attention.

So, What Can You Do About It?
There are ways to bring balance back, and no, it doesn’t require hours of meditation or retreating into the mountains.
One gentle practice is visual and intuitive. And yes, it’s featured on the oracle card this week. At first glance, it may seem too simple, but over time, it can make a real difference.

Here's how it works:

Visual Exercise for the Heart Chakra
Whenever you have a few quiet moments, like in the shower or even on the toilet (just not while driving!), take a moment to imagine a globe or sphere in the center of your chest.
Picture it glowing with soft green light, flecked with white and pink sparkles.

  • If the color seems dull, brighten it up with your imagination.

  • If it feels cracked or damaged, gently repair it.

  • Use whatever imagery works best for you—the key is engaging with it, not getting it perfect.

It doesn’t take long. But do it consistently.
And don’t worry if you don’t notice huge changes right away. These subtle practices work over time, layering healing bit by bit.
Give it a few weeks, and you may begin to notice a shift.

Need a Little Help?
If you’d like some extra support, you might consider a session with a skilled Reiki practitioner.
Reiki is an energy-based healing practice that many find helpful when working with Chakras.

Here’s a gentle reminder: not every healer is the right fit for every person. Trust your instincts. Ask for recommendations. And if it doesn’t feel right, keep looking. A good practitioner will make you the focus, and the connection should feel safe and supportive.

For the Seasoned Readers
To those of you who’ve been working with energy for a while, I know we’re only scratching the surface here.
But I want this space to be welcoming for beginners, too. So for now, let’s keep it simple and inclusive
(and yes, I say that with love .... feel free to bite your tongue just this once!).

A Final Note
As with anything related to your health, please consult your doctor for any medical concerns.
Energy work and Chakra balancing are beautiful complements to your well-being, but they’re not substitutes for professional medical care.
This is one tool in your toolbox—not the whole toolbox.

If this post sparked something for you, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Have you ever felt sensations in your chest that you now recognize might be tied to your Heart Chakra? Or maybe you’re curious but still unsure, either way, let’s keep the conversation open.

The Heart of Healing:
A Gentle Introduction to Your Heart Chakra

This week, I want to invite you into a topic that may not be part of your everyday conversations, yet it plays a surprisingly deep role in how we experience life, love, and even grief.

We’re talking about Chakras, specifically the Heart Chakra.

If this concept is new to you, please stick with me until the end. I promise to keep things simple and grounded. And if you have any questions afterward, feel free to leave a comment or message me directly,
I’m always happy to support your journey.

What Are Chakras?
The word Chakra comes from Sanskrit and means wheel. In spiritual and energetic traditions, Chakras are described as spinning energy centers within the body. Each one corresponds to specific organs, emotions, and aspects of your physical and emotional health.
Now, if this already sounds too abstract, don’t worry. You don’t have to be an expert or even fully convinced to benefit from this perspective. Just stay open, and let’s explore together.

There are seven major Chakras in the body. You can look them up online if you’d like a broader overview, but today, we’ll zoom in on the Heart Chakra.
