Why do we call this section 'The Other Side"?

Welcome to 'The Other Side'

You might wonder why this section is called 'The Other Side". 

There are a few reasons, but the most important one is that there is always another side to a story, an event or a situation. I believe it is important that we learn to look at things from different angles. When you are an established teacher, coach, practitioner or card reader you should have already learned the importance of taking a step back, look at a situation from a different angle and re-evaluate. Although there is also a chance that after many years of working in the field you got stuck in your way of thinking or doing things.

On the other hand, someone who is just starting on their spiritual journey or is just seeking guidance or healing on a spiritual level, might go to a practitioner with certain expectations or a certain mindset, because they have been reading all about it.  

An experienced reader might still get stuck during a reading for several reasons out of their control, while the client might not get the information they are looking for because the matter involved is so personal that even on a subconscious level the client does not give access. When this happens you will have to take a step back and re-evaluate how to proceed.

At one point I was doing a reading and I could not break through this big wall that was surrounding a specific issue. It was not until I stopped the reading, explained the client that my guides and Angels did not let me touch the issue because it was deeply personal and well guarded. We talked a bit and my client gave permission and we could continue with what turned out to be a very profound reading for my client. This had the potential of becoming a big disappointing and frustrated reading. I could have blamed my client, my client could have blamed me and we both would have gone home disappointed and not being any wiser. 

In this situation both reader and client, needed to evaluate the impasse and both needed to take steps to make this a worthwhile reading. We could only do that when we both came aware of the problem and worked together to solve the issue. No matter the situation, there is always an other side involved. 

Another reason to call it 'The Other Side' is a very straight forward one. A lot of spiritual work involves communication with the other side. We talk to Spirit Guides, Angels, Higher Energies, Spiritual beings and sometimes even to loved ones, who are in spirit, hence 'The Other Side'

The reason for this page is that I hope people from all levels, are willing to share their experiences dealing with the spiritual side of living.

Those who are just starting their spiritual journey might learn a lot from your experiences and might be able to avoid mistakes, we as more experienced travellers have made, and the more experienced travellers might learn something from those who are just starting. We should never stop learning!

You might encounter something on your path that another has never came across during their journey. We need to keep learning with every step we take and why not share our experiences, our thoughts and both the positive and negative we encounter during our journey with others, so we all can keep learning!
